TikTok Creator AI Search: the AI that recommends creators

Creator AI Search, inside TikTok One, reads a campaign brief and gives the brand a list of matching creators. To make that list, your profile has to state clearly what you do and prove it with examples, not just show a follower count.

Creator AI Search is a creator discovery tool built into TikTok One, the platform where brands find creators for their campaigns. The brand pastes its brief or describes the profile it wants in a few sentences, the tool interprets the request, analyses TikTok creator profiles and returns a list. TikTok introduced it in May 2026 and showcased it again at the TikTok World Canada summit on October 7, 2026.

Waiting for a brand to discover you? The first one to recommend your profile might be a tool. No reason to panic, but a good reason to make your profile easy to read. Here is what the tool does, what we actually know, and what I suggest you check on your account.

What are TikTok One and Creator AI Search?

Since 2024, TikTok One has brought together TikTok’s tools for creator marketing. It includes Creator Marketplace, the official marketplace where brands and creators work together, and Partner Exchange, which connects advertisers with partner agencies. That is how the TikTok One blog post of May 13, 2026 describes it.

Creator AI Search is the newest piece. Instead of filtering a database with keywords, the brand writes what it is looking for in plain language. In the TikTok World Canada announcement, TikTok sums it up: the tool interprets campaign briefs and analyses creator profiles to quickly deliver a curated list of relevant creators.

How does Creator AI Search work, step by step?

According to TikTok, the brand’s journey looks like this:

  1. The brief. The brand pastes its campaign brief or describes the creator it wants. The home screen asks “What kind of creator are you looking for today?”.
  2. Reading the brief. Once submitted, the tool shows its reasoning step by step and the criteria it uses.
  3. Analysing profiles. TikTok mentions signals such as content quality, reach and what worked in past brand partnerships.
  4. The list. Up to 200 creators in seconds, which the brand refines with the Like, Dislike and Generate Similar buttons.
  5. The contact. Selected profiles go into a shortlist or get an invitation to the campaign straight away.

What TikTok does not spell out is the exact weight of each criterion. Nobody outside TikTok knows precisely why one profile ranks above another. What is clear is that the tool starts from text, the brief, and compares it with what accounts show.

Who can use it, and is it available in Morocco?

Creator AI Search is a tool for advertisers and agencies using TikTok One. Creators do not use it: they either show up in the results or they don’t.

On the creator side, TikTok’s official help page (updated July 2026) sets three conditions to join TikTok One: TikTok One must have launched in your country or region, you must be at least 18, and you must follow the Community Guidelines and the Branded Content Policy. To take part in projects, you also need at least 1,000 followers, plus other requirements that vary by project.

The announcement that put the tool in the spotlight came from TikTok World Canada. It does not confirm that the feature is available in Morocco, and I found no official list of countries. The simplest test: in the app, search for “TikTok One”, or open TikTok Studio and tap Creator Marketplace. If the entry is not there, the service is probably not open for your account or region yet.

How do you make your profile easy for a brand to find?

The advice fits in one sentence: don’t just collect followers. Say clearly what you offer and show examples that prove it. A tool that reads a brief looks for a match between words and proof. If your profile says nothing specific, there is nothing to match.

Six-point checklist: a bio that names the job, three pinned videos, the words of your niche, one topic held over time, a complete TikTok One profile, visible collaborations

Your bio names the job

One line is enough: what you do, for whom, and where. “Quick Moroccan recipes, in Darija” is more useful than an inspiring quote. A brand whose brief says “food creator in Morocco, Darija content” should be able to read those words somewhere on your account.

Your pinned videos are your portfolio

TikTok lets you pin videos at the top of your profile. Pick them the way an editor picks a showreel: a concrete result, a before/after, a format you can repeat. Work on the first second with a visual hook, and if you have already worked with a brand, pin that video.

The words of your niche are in your videos

Captions, on-screen text, the opening line: that is where a viewer understands what the video is about. TikTok does not publish the exact signals the tool reads, but a clearly stated topic cannot hurt you. Clean subtitles also help people who watch with the sound off.

One topic held over time

Ten videos on ten different topics blur the message. The same theme from several angles gives a profile you can sum up in one sentence. That sentence is what a brand buys.

A complete TikTok One profile

Once registered, TikTok lets you add starting rates, contact details, languages and industries. Fill in everything. A brand looking for a French-speaking beauty creator has little reason to keep a profile with those fields empty.

Visible, disclosed collaborations

TikTok lists past partnership performance among its signals. Your earlier branded content, posted with TikTok’s branded content disclosure, is proof worth keeping visible.

What should a brand put in its brief?

If you are on the other side, a brand or an agency, the quality of the list depends on the quality of the brief. This is what I always put in a content brief:

  • The goal: awareness, launch, sales. One main goal.
  • The audience: age, country, language (French, Arabic, Darija, English).
  • The product and the key message, in one sentence.
  • The style you want: talking to camera, tutorial, humour, before/after.
  • The deliverables: number of videos, length, vertical format, ad usage or not.
  • Budget and timing, even rough ones.

Then keep a human eye on the list. The tool suggests, the brand decides. Watch at least three videos from each creator before sending an invitation. My article on briefing a freelance video editor follows the same logic.

What are the tool’s limits?

  • It is reserved for advertisers and agencies on TikTok One, and TikTok One is not open in every country.
  • The exact criteria and their weight are not public.
  • A generated list does not replace checking: real audience, tone, values, past content.
  • Creators still depend on each project’s requirements: at least 1,000 followers according to TikTok’s help page, sometimes more.

Frequently asked questions

Does Creator AI Search replace agents or managers?

No. It helps a brand build a first list. The contract, the negotiation, the detailed brief and the follow-up stay human. TikTok also offers Partner Exchange for campaigns managed by partner agencies.

Do you need a lot of followers to show up?

TikTok does not publish a threshold for the search itself. To take part in Creator Marketplace projects, the official help page mentions at least 1,000 followers plus other requirements that vary. A clear profile with proof matters at least as much as the number.

How do I know if TikTok One is available to me?

Search for “TikTok One” in the app, or go to TikTok Studio and then Creator Marketplace. If nothing shows up, the service is probably not open in your region for now.

Can a Moroccan brand use Creator AI Search?

The tool is part of TikTok One on the advertiser side, and availability depends on the market and the account. The safest way is to check inside TikTok One or with your TikTok contact.
